Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution .
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
“These types of items being sold, normally online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their security.
“You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
