Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A guy was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These types of products being offered, typically online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their security.
“You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
